As I look back at a time before I used Contactually, I cannot quite fathom how I made it through each day. Although Contactually is a CRM system, this does not do it justice, as it takes your relationship building to the next level. As you can imagine, interviewing 163 successful business people was no easy feat, and I found myself unorganised and scattered far too often. Contactually not only solved this issue, but helped me nurture and improve my relationships, as well as connecting with new people in the first place. I’m proud to have them involved in The Successful Mistake, and couldn’t imagine living without this amazing piece of kit.

I like to utilise the use of forms, not only to better know my audience, but to keep track of important tasks like delivering copies of The Successful Mistake to those who feature in it, and to gather vital information like mailing addresses, email, social media accounts, and much more. Sure, I could use something ugly like Google Docs to achieve this, and for a long time I did… but then I found Typeform, and my life changed for the better. Although Typeform helps you create simple forms for an array of uses, there’s nothing simple about this awesome company. They help you create engaging communications with your audience, and stand out whilst you do so. In a world where many people are doing the same-old-same-old, Typeform help you stand out. I’m proud to have them part of The Successful Mistake, and they continue to help me achieve my goals each day. 

Involving 163 inspiring people in The Successful Mistake was a tough adventure to keep track of, and as someone who values the importance of following people up and persisting until you get the right answer, I had far too many notes and to-do lists for far too long. But then I came across FollowUp.cc, and I quickly saved time, money, and a whole lot of stress. Simply put, FollowUp reminds you to follow-up those you need to follow up. But this amazing tool goes far deeper than that, and it’s something I use each day to stay on top of every single email I send. These guys have brought a lot of value into my life and helped me write The Successful Mistake in the first place. I’m so proud to have them part of this amazing journey, and look forward to the magic we’ll cook up together.

Each book requires a different approach, and each writer has their own unique way of researching, structuring, drafting, and so much more. It’s easy to lose focus of what you’re doing, and as you delve deeper into the process (editing, publishing, printing), matters only get harder — unless you use something like Scrivener to write what you write, because such a tool takes away a lot of stress and pain. I’ve invested a lot of money and time into my writing over the years, and the money I spent on Scrivener is among the best I’ve placed onto the table. I couldn’t (and indeed, wouldn’t want to) write books without using the mighty Scriv, and I’m darn proud to have such an incredible company involved with The Successful Mistake.
